Our Mission Statement

We are proudly placing the Whitby Golf Club Junior Section at the heart of our Club Development Plan.

We aim to provide more opportunities for children and young people to learn to play golf in a fun and friendly way; creating an environment where they feel comfortable and confident to participate and become part of the golf club community.

Our club professional, James Ellis-Caird, has a fresh and new approach to engaging youngsters by putting fun at the beginning of learning and not at the end.  As they grow, their skills and passion for the game will grow with them.

We relish in supporting the young talent and enthusiasm coming through on their journey to becoming valued club members and even future pros.

Our ‘Children and Young People Safeguarding Policy and Procedures’ can be found here: Club Policies and Procedures
